Hi, I'm Amy!
If you’ve been looking for someone to help you learn the nitty-gritty of permaculture design, look no further.
Since I graduated with my permaculture design certificate (PDC) in 2009, I've been passionate about putting the design process into practice.
I've transformed my own yards into permaculture landscapes, developed site designs for private clients, and led the creation of a community food forest.
More importantly, I've devoted myself to sharing permaculture design with others. My website, TenthAcreFarm.com, has helped tens of thousands of people looking for ecological solutions to their gardening challenges.
Likewise, my award-winning book, The Suburban Micro-Farm: Modern Solutions for Busy People, shows how to yield stress-free harvests using permaculture techniques.
I'm confident that my Permaculture Design Program will help you work through the many challenges of creating a site design that incorporates all the markers of a whole system, including water, beneficial habitat, cohesive planting schemes, functional pathways, spaces for relaxation and enjoyment, and more.
I can't wait to help you turn your vision into reality!
After years of working with permaculture design students, I know exactly where most of them get stuck. I designed this program to help you move through those difficult spots and realize the satisfaction of designing your own dream site.

BONUS
How to Create Digital Maps with Google Slides
The idea of creating site maps can cause a lot of anxiety in permaculture design students. In fact, it's the biggest roadblock to finishing a PDC.
Still, a permaculture designer needs to have some confidence in their map creation skills, no matter if they’re sketching them by hand or designing them digitally.
To be clear, there’s no requirement in this program for maps to be created digitally. This is your design, and I’m here to support your journey.
However, if you would like to create professional-looking digital designs but don’t have confidence in your digital map creation skills, then this bonus is for you.
I’ll show you how to create digital designs simply, using Google Slides. Anyone can do it with this step-by-step bonus!

The Permaculture Design Program is a self-paced, step-by-step program for permaculture design course graduates and action-oriented, self-motivated learners who are committed to creating and implementing a permaculture design.
By the end of the 7-day window, you will have had the opportunity to validate the comprehensive resources, support, and encouragement that this program provides.
However, if you decide this program isn’t for you, simply request a full refund within seven days of your purchase date.
I’m new to permaculture. Is this going to be too advanced for me?
This program is set up to support graduates of the 72-hour+ Permaculture Design Certification (PDC) and is not intended to be a substitute for that course.
However, if you’re an advanced gardener who has been applying permaculture techniques for some time, AND you're a self-motivated learner who enjoys researching and figuring things out, then this program may be a good fit. The optional coaching sessions may be just what you need to succeed.
Do I need to complete this program within a certain time frame?
No, this program is self-paced and you can take as long as you need to complete it. However, we estimate that you will need a few hours every week for at least six weeks to complete a fully integrated design.
How long will I have access to the program?
You will have lifetime access, including all updates.
Are tech skills required to complete the design?
Absolutely not! While tech skills can be helpful in permaculture design, they’re not required. (You may have some initial questions if you aren’t familiar with Google Docs, but my team and I are here to help.)
What if I have more questions before I enroll?
Contact me and I'll get back to you ASAP.
What if I have questions after I enroll?
My team and I are available through direct messaging to answer questions about the program contents.
In addition, program clients can schedule private coaching calls with me for an additional charge to work through challenges or get feedback on design ideas.
